Saudi Embassy Processing Times The Saudi Embassy is currently taking up to a full working week to process all visa applications. This is due to the increased volume of applications being made prior to Ramadan. Chinese Embassy New Mandatory Requirements & Visa Fees As of 23/07/08, the Chinese Embassy have introduced new mandatory requirements for All Visa Applications: 1. Proof of Travel must be provided in the form of copies of the actual tickets for your flights, from the relevant airline, for your flights both into, and out of, China. 2. Proof of Accomodation must be provided in the form of a booking confirmation, for every night of your stay, that has been sent by fax to you from the relevant hotel in China. Itinieries or other forms of proof of accomodation/travel will not be accepted. For applications to be processed on a same day service, Tickets showing travel to China within the following 3 days must be supplied. For a next day service, Tickets showing Travel to China within the following 5 days must be supplied. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in the issue of your visa and any consequences of this if you fail to provide this. please see this page for more details. The Chinese Embassy in London have also increased their Visa Fees and the address of the Visa Processing Office with immediate effect. Also, Same Day Applications will now be collected at 4pm, rather than 2pm. For details of the new prices and address please see this page. Please note that no visas are issued in the Visa Centre were we must lodge and collect all applications. The Embassy transfer all applications from the Visa Centre to their Consular Offices for the visa to be issued. During this time your passport will be unavailable. We will not be able to retrieve it until the Embassy is satisfied it has completed its processes and returned the passport to the Visa Centre. We cannot be held responsible for any delays that arise as a result of this or any other of the Embassy's processes. Indian High Commission Mandatory Requirements & New Visa Fees The Indian High Commisison have recently increased in their Visa Fees. These will be applied with immediate effect. please see this page for full details of these price increases. We have also been informed that as of 16/07/08, 2 year visas will no longer be issued. All Indian Visa Applications forms MUST now be filled in online on this form from The Indian High Commission website, printed, and signed by the applicant. Please note that the initial questions made on the form MUST be answered as follows: Q. Where would you like to submit your visa application? A. Goswell Road Q. How would you like to submit your visa application? A. In person Q. How would you like your processed application returned to you? A. Collect in person You must not make any payments online; all payments must be made to RLP Visas Ltd only. We lodge Indian Visa Applications every Tuesday and Friday, which are released by the Embassy back to us on the following Thursday and Tuesday respectively. We can arrange for applications to be lodged on other days, but a £25 +vat surcharge to cover the increased costs for this service will be incurred. In order for us to lodge any application on this Friday appointment we MUST have received your complete application by 5pm on the previous afternoon. Please note that no visas are issued in the Visa Centre were we must lodge and collect all applications.
