Saudi Visa Applications - Authorisation Requirements The Saudi Embassy has given notice of new requirements for all Saudi Visa Applications. From now on, every application will require an Authorisation Number from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Local Chamber of Commerce. Letters any other organisation will no longer be accepted, even if they have been stamped by a Governmental Approved Body. Russian Visa Applications - New Prices & Use of Visa Centre from 23rd January 2009 The Russian Embassy have given notice that as of 23rd January 2009, all Russian Visa Applications will be lodged through a new Russian Visa Application Centre. From this date, Visa Applications will no longer be accepted at the Russian Consulate itself. As a result the following changes to the visa process will be enforced: 1. Same Day Services will no longer be available: the fastest service available will instead be a Next Day Service. 2. In addtion to the new Visa Prices that came into effect on 18th December 2008, there will be an additional handling charge for all applications. a) For Next Day Service applications this will be £28 plus vat each. b) For 6 Day Service applications this will be £22 plus vat each. 3. No visas will be issued in the Visa Centre where we must lodge and collect all applications. The Embassy transfer all applications from the Visa Centre to their Consular Offices for the visa to be issued. During this time your passport will be unavailable. We will not be able to retrieve it until the Embassy is satisfied it has completed its processes and returned the passport to the Visa Centre. We cannot be held responsible for any delays that arise as a result of this or any other of the Embassy's processes. Travel to USA - Mandatory use of ESTA for Visa Waiver Program All Passengers travelling to the USA on or after 12th January 2009 on the Visa Waiver Program must obtain an Electronic System for Travel Authorization ("ESTA") before they travel. It is highly recommended that you submit your details to the ESTA system at least 72 hours before travelling to allow time for your application to be processed. Once issued, an ESTA is valid for travel for 2 years, or the expiry of the passport specified, whichever happens first. Each ESTA issued is only valid for the Passport specified. If you hold dual nationality or multiple passports you must therefore obtain a separate ESTA for each passport that you plan to use for travel to the USA. for more details please click here and refer to point 8 (b). Libyan Visa Applications - Personal Application Only from 1st December 2008 From 1st December 2008, the Libyan Embassy will require that all visa applicants have a set of fingerprints taken at the Libyan Embassy. As result, all those making applications from this date will only be able to submit their applications by attending the Embassy in person. No agencies or other 3rd parties will be permitted to do so on their behalf. Therefore, unfortunately, we regret that we will no longer be able to process Libyan Visa Applications on your behalf. Algerian Visa Applications - Yellow Fever Certificate Requirements With Immediate Effect, the Algerian Embassy now require that all South American and African Nationals supply a Yellow Fever Certificate in order to have any Algerian Visa Application processed.
